Every January, Dobson Technolgies hosts an Annual Kickoff meeting for their employees to discuss previous year’s performance and the coming year’s goals and initiatives. The company’s 120+ employees gathered on January 21st at Noah’s Event Center in Oklahoma City to hear from company leaders and a keynote speaker. This year’s theme was Power Forward.
The event featured Burns Hargis, President of Oklahoma State University. President Hargis delighted the audience with a humorous and engaging speech on his endeavors to enhance the OSU brand and improve university enrollment. The employees also heard from CEO Everett Dobson on the vision and direction of the company.
Company performance and goals were headed up by Trent LeForce, CFO and Frank Franzese, President of IT, Transport & Telecom Solutions. Jim Horsburgh, Sr VP of Corporate Development spoke about the company’s Dobson Communities initiative. Employees were then able to ask questions directly to company leaders about anything that was on their minds regarding the business during an hour-long Open Panel Discussion. The meeting ended with employee recognition where several employees were recognized for tenure and performance. The first Russell Dobson award was presented to one outstanding employee, Sarah Sowinski, who exemplifies the company’s values and beliefs.
