Dobson Fiber commits to Fiber Internet Expansions in Cache, Okla

OKLAHOMA CITY — Dobson Fiber announces another multi-million-dollar expansion of its fiber internet offering with a groundbreaking in Cache, Okla. today with city officials.

“Expanding our fiber network into communities like Cache is part of Dobson Fiber’s mission to ensure Oklahomans have access to reliable, high-capacity internet built for the future,” said Chief Executive Officer Patricia Martin. “Our investment in advanced fiber infrastructure allows us to deliver the speed, reliability and scalability that homes and businesses need today while preparing these communities for the technology demands of tomorrow. Our fiber network is engineered to deliver residential speeds up to 10 gigabits per second today, and the same infrastructure will support speeds up to 100 gigabits within the next five years.”

Chief Strategy Officer Jim Horsburgh added, “We’ve seen tremendous support from customers across Oklahoma, and we’re excited to expand our services to reach the vast majority of homes in Cache. This investment will also provide local businesses with faster, more reliable connectivity to help fuel economic growth and long-term success.”

Dobson Fiber currently serves 57 communities across Oklahoma and five communities in Arkansas. The company continues to expand its high-speed broadband network in both rural and urban areas, delivering internet speeds up to 10 gigabits for residential customers and up to 400 gigabits for business customers.
