All Patched Up: Microsoft Security Update

In case you missed it, Microsoft released an emergency security update on Monday, July 20th. The update fixes a critical Windows flaw that potentially allows hackers to gain complete control of your system. Attackers could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights.

Pretty scary, right? Not to fear if you are a Dobson customer. As part of our proactive IT management approach, Dobson Technologies pushed out the security update to all of our Managed IT clients that very same day. Our clients can rest easy knowing that their systems are protected and they are no longer vulnerable to this security flaw. They don’t have to worry about security threats because they know that Dobson is proactively monitoring and applying patches like these to keep the hackers out.
